Solar Home Lighting System
A solar home light system provides electricity produced by using solar radiation for operating lights, fans, Television, Computer and other electrical appliances for specified hours of operation per day. The component of the solar lighting system includes Solar Photovoltaic Module/Panel (solar cells), charge controller, solar battery and Solar Inverter. Solar Inverters are used in cases where the DC power generated from the Solar Photovoltaic Modules have to be converted into AC power as per the user’s requirement.
For home lighting Solar PV Modules are installed on the open shadow free roof which to be exposed to sunlight and the charge controller, Inverter and battery are kept inside a protected place in the house.
Solar Street Light System
Solar Street Lighting Systems are standalone systems that provide reliable outdoor lighting for used in a Residential Area, Industrial / Institutional campuses, Roads, Villages, Open Spaces. These systems work dusk to dawn by sensing outdoor light using a light source (Solar Radiation). The component of the solar street system includes Solar Photovoltaic Module/Panel (solar cells), charge controller, solar battery LED /CFL luminary or fixtures, street light pole.
Advantages of solar street lighting system
- This is a non polluting source of electricity
- Solar street lights are independent of the utility grid. Hence, the operation costs are minimized.
- Solar street lights require much less maintenance compared to conventional street lights.
- Since external wires are eliminated, risk of accidents is minimized.
- Since these are standalone system, it can to uninstalled and relocated as per the user’s requirement
Solar Power Pack
The solar photovoltaic system will be customized based on customer power requirement and available roof top space.
Global Energy Solutions offers wide range of Off grid / Grid Connected Power Packs from small to large capacity to suit to demands of various Residential / Commercial / Industrial / Institutional users.
Off Grid Systems: This can be a good solution where the user experiences load shedding especially if the customer is using diesel generator during the load shedding. The Solar Photovoltaic Modules generates electricity from solar array and stores this electricity in batteries. The stored energy is fed to utility using inverters. The system will have sufficient battery bank to power up the electrical appliance during power outage.
Grid Connect System: This can be a solution where the user has high power/electricity requirement and pay very high electricity charges. The systems payback will be very attractive in this case.
The electricity generated by Solar Photovoltaic Modules is fed to utilities using grid tied inverters. The photovoltaic array is used in synchronization with the grid supply or diesel generator (during power outage). Power generated is first used by the connected loads. If the electricity generated by solar array is more than requirement of utility then it will be fed to grid. If the demand of utility is more than electricity generated by solar array, the balance requirement of power will be drawn from the grid.
Solar Water Heating System
A Solar Water Heater is a device which provides hot water for bathing, washing, cleaning, etc. using solar energy. It is generally installed at the terrace or where sunlight is available and heats water during day time which is stored in an insulated storage tank for use when required in the mornings.
Solar Water Heating Systems saves money for the users. A 100 liter per day capacity system suitable for 3 - 4 people can save upto 1500 units of electricity in a year, depending on hot water used. It can also save around 140 liters of diesel in an establishment using oil fired boiler besides reducing green house gas emissions in the atmosphere. Higher capacity systems will save higher amount of electricity/fuel oil besides reducing higher amount of GHG emissions.
Solar Water Pumping System
A solar-powered pump is a stand-alone system running on electricity generated by photovoltaic panels available from collected sunlight as opposed to grid electricity or diesel run water pumps. The power generated from the Solar Photovoltaic Modules are used to operate the submersible e/surface pump for lifting water from different sources such as open well, tube well, reservoir or river etc,.
The operation of solar powered pumps is more economical mainly due to the lower operation and maintenance costs and has less environmental impact than pumps powered by an internal combustion engine (ICE). Solar pumps are useful where grid electricity is unavailable and using alternative sources (in particular diesel powered motor/pumps) is very expensive.
Solar Powered Petrol Pumps
Converting to solar power is the answer to fighting the menace of load shedding in urban, Semi Urban and Rural areas. By doing this, the FUEL BUNK Owners will not only save on the recurring costs of electricity and generator expenses but will also ensure continued and uninterrupted supply to the customers.
Switching to solar energy would free from them from adverse effects of load shedding and help save over 70 per cent on electricity and Diesel Generator bills.
